Organic St. John's Wort Oil, like all the base oils in our collection, is made with extra virgin olive oil, which is infused with our fresh herbs. Research has shown that when base oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of the properties they can provide, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs, which yield only about 50%!
St. John's Wort Oil, or Hypericum Oil, has been known since ancient times as the oil used by Spartan soldiers to heal their wounds. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, proteins, and trace elements. The oil is made using fresh Hypericum flowers at full bloom, steeped in extra virgin olive oil. The oil produced through cold pressing is exposed to sunlight for a completely natural maturation process, resulting in a vibrant red color.
Organic St. John's Wort Oil is extremely effective for sciatica and any rheumatic pain, and it greatly helps with joint pain and edema.
