The St. John's Wort Oil available at Herbstore.gr is 100% pure and processed with fresh St. John's Wort (Hypericum), making it particularly practical and economical in the mentioned packaging sizes.
Like all the base oils we make, St. John's Wort Oil is produced with extra virgin olive oil, which is processed with our fresh herbs. Research shows that when base oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of their properties, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs that deliver only about 50%.
St. John's Wort Oil is known since antiquity as the oil used by Spartan soldiers to heal their wounds. It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, D, proteins, and trace elements. For its preparation, fresh Hypericum flowers at full bloom are immersed in extra virgin olive oil. The resulting cold-pressed oil is exposed to sunlight for natural maturation, acquiring a vibrant red color.
St. John's Wort Oil is highly effective for sciatica and any rheumatic pain, providing great relief for joint pains and dropsy. It soothes and heals: wounds, bruises, sprains, burns, varicose veins, inflammations, irritations, itching, insect bites, skin diseases, cracks in heels and elbows, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, and arthritis.
It is also beneficial for cramps, strains, chills, neuralgias, and headaches. For pain relief, apply the oil directly or perform light massages on the affected area, or use compresses with soaked gauze. Additionally, for issues such as hemorrhoids, stomach ulcers, and constipation (where it has remarkable results), take a tablespoon of St. John's Wort Oil every night on an empty stomach. It is ideal for any therapeutic or relaxing massage.
St. John's Wort Oil can be used either alone or in combination with other base oils for even better results. It’s important to know that base oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for essential oils.
Additionally, if you like our St. John's Wort Oil, check out other products we make with it, such as: St. John's Wort Balm, St. John's Wort Soap, and St. John's Wort and Cocoa Soap.
