The Turmeric Tincture with Black Pepper is made by soaking turmeric rhizome and black pepper fruit in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the solution, creating the tincture.
You may wonder, "Why take turmeric with black pepper?" The answer is, "Because consuming turmeric with black pepper increases the absorption of curcumin by 2000%!" Turmeric and black pepper are more potent when taken together. Think of these two spices as one—when black pepper is present, turmeric is fully absorbed by the body.
Benefits of this tincture:
Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, this spice has been used to treat urinary tract infections, liver issues, joint pain, intestinal discomfort (colic), skin conditions, and menstrual discomfort. Curcumin is believed to provide an alternative treatment for ulcers caused by the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, which is becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics.
Additional benefits of this combination:
Reduces inflammation: Both curcumin and piperine are powerful anti-inflammatory agents, making this beneficial for those suffering from osteoarthritis.
Fights depression: Turmeric is said to be as effective as Prozac in treating depression.
Aids in weight loss: Black pepper and turmeric may effectively convert fat-storing cells into fat-burning cells, promoting weight loss.
Benefits of Turmeric:
Numerous laboratory studies indicate that curcumin may have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and even anti-cancer effects, slowing the onset of degenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis.
It possesses anti-inflammatory properties similar to those of cortisone.
Relieves symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
Lowers cholesterol levels.
Has antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals.
Prevents gallstones, spastic colitis, and other gastrointestinal disorders.
Improves digestion and is stomach-friendly.
Beneficial for Alzheimer's patients by preventing further progression of the disease through inhibiting beta-amyloid protein accumulation in the brain.
Has beneficial effects on malignant tumors.
Alleviates nearly all allergic conditions, whether skin-related (eczema) or respiratory.
Accelerates insulin production from the pancreas, significantly aiding non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
Acts as a rapid remedy for colds and phlegm.
Protects the liver from toxins.
Treats anemia and diarrhea.
Curcumin has strong anti-cancer effects and appears to be broadly useful for most cancer types due to its ability to affect the molecular targets of cancer cells. Moreover, curcumin is non-toxic and does not harm healthy cells, and it is traditionally used in cancer chemotherapy. Curcumin may even enhance the efficacy of some chemotherapy drugs, positively affecting lung, breast, liver, stomach, and colorectal cancers.
Tinctures preserve all the active ingredients of the herb, are particularly easy to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly surpass dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are very potent, and for this reason, they should be consumed according to their instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
