The Sea Buckthorn Oil available at Herbstore.gr is 100% pure and processed with fresh sea buckthorn, and in the mentioned packaging sizes, it is particularly practical and economical.
Like all base oils we produce, Sea Buckthorn Oil is made with extra virgin olive oil processed with our herbs in their fresh form. Research has shown that when base oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of the properties they can provide, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs, which yield only about 50%.
Sea Buckthorn Oil is excellent for body care and is suitable for all skin types. Sea buckthorn is one of the oldest plants in Europe and Asia, and it is classified as a super herb. The 190 active ingredients found in the plant are impressive. Sea buckthorn is a "pharmacy" of plant-based compounds, containing vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, and K, as well as beta-carotene (the richest), flavonoids (isorhamnetin, quercetin glycosides, kaempferol), folic acid, organic acids (quinic acid, malic acid), oleic acids (omega-3, omega-6, omega-7, omega-9), and minerals (Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Selenium).
Thanks to these components, it enhances the natural regeneration of skin, nails, and hair, replenishing lost moisture. It revitalizes and hydrates dry and dehydrated skin, restoring the skin's natural balance quickly, resulting in a more radiant and refreshed appearance after each use. It is widely used by individuals with psoriasis, as it is quite effective for this condition. The skin gains new vitality, appears renewed, and feels noticeably smoother. For economic reasons and because it may cause temporary discoloration on very sensitive skin if used alone, it is recommended to dilute it with another base oil. Consuming it (1-2 tablespoons) is also highly beneficial for boosting the body and addressing issues like diabetes, colitis, ulcers, and hypertension.
Sea Buckthorn Oil can be used alone or in combination with other base oils for even better results. Additionally, it is important to know that base oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for adding essential oils.
