The oil from cashews is a yellowish liquid. It has a sweet aroma and taste.

Cashew oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, proteins, minerals & trace elements (selenium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus), and is naturally high in antioxidants and vitamin E, which contribute to its antioxidant action.

Cashew oil has a low viscosity, meaning it spreads easily and helps to hydrate the skin. It can be used as a light emollient to keep the skin smooth and prevent cracks that develop due to dry and cold weather.

Organic Cashew Oil can be used either alone or in combination with other carrier oils for even better results. Finally, it is important to know that carrier oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for added essential oils.
