The use of clay for therapeutic purposes dates back to ancient times. We know that the Ancient Egyptians, Australian Aborigines, Native Americans, Indians, Chinese, and even the Ancient Greeks and Romans used clay for healing reasons.
Depending on its origin and composition, clay appears in various shades. Red Clay (Red Argiletz Clay) is rich in iron oxides.
Clay has been known since antiquity for its cleansing properties. Thanks to its rich detoxifying and antibacterial qualities, it effectively removes all kinds of microorganisms that penetrate the skin's pores. By systematically removing all forms of pollutants and oxidizing molecules from the skin, we reduce the chances of premature cellular deterioration, absorbing everything that accumulates on the surface, which contributes to the dull, lifeless appearance of the skin.
Today, it is considered ideal for skin renewal. Its high content of iron oxides promotes cell regeneration, strengthening the skin and giving it a radiant appearance. Its use is recommended in cases where the skin shows signs such as scars, stretch marks, burn marks, redness from broken capillaries, bruises, etc.
It is ideal for eye care—particularly in cases of dark circles or pronounced bags under the eyes. It is also often used on specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, bust, and arms, which show signs of sagging.
Red Clay is considered ideal for skin renewal today. Its high iron oxide content accelerates cell regeneration, strengthening the skin and imparting a glow. Its use is highly recommended in cases where the skin has "marks" (such as scars, stretch marks, burn marks, redness from "broken" capillaries, bruises, etc.). It is also considered ideal for eye care—especially for dark circles or pronounced bags under the eyes. Overall, it enhances the natural healing process of the skin locally.
Red Clay is usually used in the form of a "beauty mask" (alone or in combination with essential oils). It is also frequently applied to specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, bust, and arms, which show signs of sagging.
