Storage: In a dark and cool place (5°C – 15°C)

Historical Notes: The Romans particularly valued fennel. Pliny referred to it as "Foeniculum," likely because the dried herb resembles dry grass—Latin "foenum." Dioscorides notes: "When taken with cold water, it soothes discomfort and heat in the stomach."
Scientifically Documented Applications: The E-Commission recommends fennel for respiratory tract inflammations and gastrointestinal discomfort.
The seeds and oil of fennel have antispasmodic and soothing properties. They combat bacteria and viruses.
