The tincture blend for phlebitis and varicose veins is made by soaking the aforementioned herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.

Phlebitis, varicose veins, and spider veins are related terms that describe the dilation of blood vessels and veins under the skin (usually in the legs). Although the causes of this condition are not fully understood, it is believed to be caused by inadequate or "poor" blood circulation in the extremities. In advanced stages, phlebitis is treated with medication and modern methods such as sclerotherapy, laser treatment, and surgery.

Phlebitis Relief supports the body in the prevention and treatment of phlebitis, varicose veins, and spider veins—always in conjunction with a proper diet. It contains Ginkgo Biloba, Yarrow, Common Germander, and Wild Rose.

Common Germander is primarily used to treat phlebitis, varicose veins, and swelling of the extremities and all forms of spider veins. It helps the human body with its strong anticoagulant and antithrombotic action. Consuming Common Germander improves blood return through the veins to the heart, thereby reducing swelling and pain caused by blood accumulation. Yarrow is believed to improve blood circulation by strengthening the walls of blood vessels and "lowering" pressure, making it effective in cases such as phlebitis and poor circulation in the extremities. Ginkgo Biloba is considered to improve blood circulation throughout the body and significantly aids in oxygenating blood vessels. Better blood circulation is particularly important for heart function and arterial elasticity. Ginkgo is thought to act catalytically against platelet activation factor (PAF), which promotes blood clots, cholesterol accumulation, and consequently leads to arteriosclerosis. It is supported that it effectively addresses the phenomenon of "cold extremities" by restoring blood circulation in hands and feet. Lastly, Wild Rose reduces spider veins, varicose veins, and stretch marks by increasing collagen and elastin levels.

Herbal tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the herbs, are particularly simple to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly have advantages over dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
