Research has shown that when base oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of their beneficial properties, unlike commercial oils that are made with dried herbs and yield only about 50%.

Borage Oil (Borago Oil) is extracted from the seeds of the beautiful Borage plant (Borago officinalis). Borage Oil has the highest concentration of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) of any vegetable oil. GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid essential for brain function, metabolism regulation, and the health and development of bones, hair, and skin. Borage oil has been shown to calm and reduce inflammation and has been successfully used to relieve pain, swelling, and stiffness in joints due to rheumatoid arthritis. It has also been used with positive results for various skin disorders such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and prematurely aging skin. The oil is such a significant source of gamma-linolenic acid that it may prove valuable for many different ailments. However, it is undoubtedly beneficial for the overall health and well-being of the body.
