When the sweet peppers ripen and turn red, they are harvested and sent to the dehydrator for drying. They are then crushed to produce the spice known as sweet boukovo.

Sweet boukovo pairs wonderfully with all grilled dishes, salads, soups, and stews, adding great flavor and color wherever used.

If you desire the characteristic spiciness (heat), choose the hot boukovo.

Origin: Greece. Imathia region (cultivated)

Storage: In a dark and cool place (5°C – 15°C).
